The Irish and their Love of Music & Dance
People of all ages can experience all the different dance steps and styles, including
Step, Set, & Ceili Dancing. The Southside has a number of terrific traditional
Irish Dance schools for our young boys and girls. We also offer a number of opportunities
for those of all ages to practice Set and Ceili dancing. So "young or old", "novice or
experenced", come by and be enveloped by this energy that is uniquely Irish.

The Chicago Feis
The 2009 Chicago Feis is planned for Memorial Day. Please stay tuned for more details.
"Feis", pronounced (fesh), is a full day, champion-level, Irish step-dance competition. In past years, the Chicago Feis has hosted between 800 - 1,200 Irish Dancers from across the midwest.
