The Chicago Gaelic Athletic Association

The heart & soul of Gaelic Park is in its sports!
The Chicago GAA

The relationship between the G.A.A. and Gaelic Park in Chicago has a long and fruitful history. Gaelic Games were first played at Gaelic Park in the summer of 1984 when a Senior Men’s Football Championship match between the St. Brendan’s and the Wolfe Tones took place. Since then many clubs have come and gone.

The present day G.A.A. in Chicago is strong with Senior Men’s Football teams, Junior Men’s Football teams, Ladies Football teams, Senior Hurling teams, and Camogie teams.
